One year, not enough. One semester, not enough. There is really no way to gain a measure of Bach's genius by sampling a few works. Perhaps if the MUS 301 had 5 CD's of muisc up until the time of Bach and then, another 6 CD's covering Bach (read 11 total), that might be sufficient. Respond to this blog by researching and finding out something about Bach that you can share with your classmates. I'll leave it up to you to make a serious inquiry and report back.
